Missed shot again? Before you blame your aim, check your mouse. Three settings matter most.
DPI measures how far your cursor moves per inch of mouse movement. Higher is not always better. Many shooter players stay in a moderate range because it keeps their aim steady.
Polling rate is how often the mouse reports its position. 1000 Hz is a common standard for gaming and feels smooth.
Sensor and weight matter too. A lighter mouse is easier to flick, while a heavier one can feel steadier.
Quick fix: set your DPI to a comfortable middle value, lower the in-game sensitivity if you overshoot, and give it a week before judging.
